The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, said that the launch of the «Government-Business Dialogue» platform in the region aims «not to bleed the economy.»

He announced this on the air of Novyny.LIVE.

According to him, now the interaction takes place in «manual mode», when entrepreneurs directly address issues that are resolved at the local level. The new project will help systematize this process.

«Previously, in the Mykolaiv region, these issues were resolved manually » entrepreneurs had my phone and we resolved these issues as business nannies. The new platform will help to systematize these relations so that the central government hears the problems of businesses on the ground. The goal is for every entrepreneur to trust the authorities more, to be able to directly address the central authorities and solve the issues that concern them,» noted Vitalii Kim.

Vitalii Kim emphasized that at this time there are two tasks - ensuring mobilization and business support.

«Now we have two polar tasks. The mobilization must be carried out, and the business must work so as not to bleed the country's economy. The platform is created to ensure a direct dialogue between the authorities and business. This will give the regional authorities, in particular me, the opportunity to be accountable to entrepreneurs, and the president to have a real picture of the situation,» added the head of the RMA.

According to the government's calculations, these tax changes should bring an additional 58 billion hryvnias to the budget already this year, and 137 billion hryvnias next year.

The money is needed to cover the lack of funds for financing the army, the government says. However, they also say that there is a shortage of at least 500 billion hryvnias for military expenses this year alone.

In particular, as Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated, additional funds are needed for additional mobilization.

It should be noted that business and commentators were extremely critical of the tax changes initiated by the government.
